1872 WARREN’S COMMON SCHOOL GEOGRAPHY-ATLAS Original antique Warren’s school Geography Atlas with 33 hand color maps of the United states and World. Maps are very detailed showing rivers, lakes, Rail Roads, cities, towns and more. There are about 70 Illustrated pictures showing the special/important places in the world at the time. There is also a map making area in the book showing how to make maps of the world. This is also a study book asking questions about places on the maps. A very neat antique book. Philadelphia Cowperthwait & Company 1872. CONDITION: Atlas is complete with all pages and maps. The covers are faded and rubbed causing some dings and scrapes and missing material to covers and spine. The covers are attached and in good working condition with some spots and age marks, spine is also in very good condition with some scuff marks and a little missing material to the top and bottom of outer spine. (Please see picture for condition.) The first 2 blank pages are wrinkled and missing a piece of corner to page 2 but the rest of the book is in great condition with most all pages having no spotting or markings. A couple pages with some small age spots. This is a very nice antique that can be displayed and used because of the condition. Maps could be framed.
