Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a pair of matching 19th Century S. Kirk & Son Coin Silver footed Repousse decorated salt cellars. The Repousse design covers the upper body which sits on three elaborately decorated feet that end with a 3-toed paw. Marked "S. Kirk & Son, 20 oz." and are faintly engraved on side of base "H D A, 3rd June 1885". This Kirk mark was used from 1864-1890. Measures 1 1/2" high, 1 3/8" in diameter (at top) and 2 1/8" wide. Combined weight is 100 grams. Both salt cellars are in excellent Estate condition with no dents or dings and reflecting only minor signs of wear.
