For your consideration is a set of 1920s nickel plated steel Neville-barnes Simpsons obstetrical forceps. These would be used to grasp the baby's head during difficult labor to assist in delivery. This set comes from the estate of a later southern obstetrician. Please be advised this is a collectors piece and not for use. Please see my other listings for more medical antiques.
