Handmade by a German Cabinetmaker as a wedding present for the Bride, came to us from the original family , made in the USA, with an old appraisal and history note. Solid walnut with Burl Veneers, carved pulls, 16 drawers total, all hand dovetailed, chamfered handplaned bottoms, Birdseye maple interior, the original writing felt is loose as shown , with keys, 60 1/2" high 44" wide and 23" deep overall , the writing surface is 30 1/2" high.
