Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a gorgeous 19th Century Gorham Sterling Silver serving spoon in the VERSAILLES pattern issued in 1888. This was a multi-motif pattern featuring nude figures/cherubs on handle end with embossed decoration extending the length of the stem. No monograms. Marked with the Gorham trademark stamp that was used from 1875-1900 and "Sterling, Copyrighted". Measures 8 1/2" long. Weighs 77 grams. This nice silver spoon is in very good to excellent Estate condition reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.
