This rare gorgeous iconic Rus’ 1800’s style Viking / Trapper/ Hunting Tapestry is in excellent preowned pre-owned condition for being almost75 years old and a true testament to the quality and design of wolves chasing apair of Rus’ trappers packing-out before dark, and is well on its way tobecoming a beautiful antique for a man’s den or hunting room. The luxurious wool & silk velvet tapestry features rusticdetails with a rich royal blue sky and depicts salmon pink colored clothing toneson the tunic of the driver. It has a silky soft to-the-touch feel. The uniquecolors of beige, brown, black, silver and white colors shows the details ofthis fine woven design in this tapestry and is sometimes used as a floor carpetor rug in some foreign countries. Works well as a sofa throw or wall hanging. It takes up a great deal of a wall space measuring in at avery large 6’2” inches wide by 4’1” inches tall. Excellent vintage/antiquecondition. This tapestry is not damaged and the colors are steeped in a brightand saturated pattern. No holes, rips, tears or pulled threads. Tapestry isthick and heavy. It’s a rarity that this themed tapestry even makes it to theUnited States.
