An eclectic selection brought to you by: The Ell Chamber Description: Etching, hand colored, Mid 18th C, Saverio Manetti, Lorenzo Lorenzi and Violante Vanni , Plate CDLIX "Commissioned by Maria Luisa, the Grand Duchess of Tuscany, Saverio Manetti's"Storia naturale degli uccelli" (Natural History of Birds) was a monumental work spanning five volumes, with some 600 watercolor illustrations by Lorenzo Lorenzi, Violante Vanni and Manetti himself." The books were published from 1765-1776 and this is a plate from one of these books. (C2C1) Editor: Saverio Manetti Size: Frame: 26-1/4” x 19-3/4”. Print: (mat window) 10-1/2” x 13-1/2”. Condition: Please view the photos. They are photos of the actual print. The paper has yellowed slightly with age and some very mild foxing. The print is unmarked and undamaged. I have not taken the frame apart to see the hidden part of the print. The frame and mat are early 20th Century with edge and corner wear on the frame. SHIPPING: We ship to USA only at this time.
