Lot of 5 Vintage Sargent Brass Rim Deadbolts Unlocked Surface Mount Locks

These five Sargent rim latches are pulled from a school salvage here in New Orleans. They are heavy (roughly 3.5lbs total), solid brass, and the RB series, which makes them likely from the 1950s-era and built better than anything modern. They are true deadbolts that operate manually, with no spring to eventually fail. I’ve already gone through all of them—opened them up, gave them a light cleaning, and made sure the mechanisms are smooth. Left the authentic patina the way it was when I found it. They are all currently in the unlocked position. I don’t have the keys, but because I’ve already done the work to keep them unlocked, you can just swap the cylinders or have them re-keyed without any hassle.
