This John Henry Belter Victorian Rosewood Recamier / Meridien is approximately 42” tall and 68” wide. The seat is 26” deep at its widest point. The pierce carved crest and rosewood frame and legs retain their original finish. The upholstery is also original as are the castors. Ca. 1860, this rare piece belongs in the home of the serious collector, dealer or historian of antique American Victorian furniture.
