RARE PAIR NEOCLASSICAL CANDLESTICKS 12.5” GILT COPPER SHEFFIELD GEORGE III c1770 Hallmarks: unmarked Dimensions: approx. 315mm tall (12.5") Condition: Good. Dings, surface scratches, tarnishing, and warm copper tones bleeding through. Gilding good overall. Nozzles are gilt metal replacements and not original to the candlesticks, included anyway as they look fine if preferred. Wear commensurate with age and use. Please see photos and if you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask. Notes: Same construction as Old Sheffield plate, likely designed by one of the same firms.
