This antique silver ladle, crafted by Boston silversmith Joseph Loring between 1743-1815, is a rare and valuable serving piece. It looks like the ladle had a repair at one point, if you look at the spoon exterior, you'll see a small square "bump", the back of the ladle has two dimples above the hallmarks, the edges of the ladle have a feathered pattern.
