A wonderful large Jacobean “Bible” or storage box. From an old collection here in New England. In oak with inlaid floral decoration around the sides. The date is “1647” and signed “IT”. A few pieces of inlay are missing. The box has pintle hinges and possesses nice old color. This one is large at 32”, 22”, 10”. Ask any questions.
