1863 Georgia Currency – State Issue – Variant – 6856

The original hand signed 1863 “Ten Dollars” Georgia note was issued from Milledgeville, Georgia. The note has the hand inscribed serial number “43471” and has the black Treasury seal at center. The note was printed by “Douglas Eng N. Orleans” with a plain back. The note is a variant of this series with the red register bar printed too high on the face. It should be behind the “Ten Dollars”. Choice Uncirculated condition The note will be shipped in a new protective sleeve with a dated, hand signed Letter of Authenticity with a photograph of the currency above.
