A beautiful likely 18th / 19th century Scottish/English thistle alms dish made for offerings at a church/chapel. This plate is beautiful and exhibits great character. The carvings are beautiful. The back has a sticker for “Lockson services LTD British antiques lot 260” and another tag that says “old English alm dish collection plate”. No damage besides general wear.
