This old vintage wheat Penny (1939) is a nice one cent coin which was minted toward the end of the Great Depression (1929-1941). During the mintage America was in the midst of the Great Depression under FDR. The Depression was helped by the New Deal under Roosevelt but really ended with WW11. This coin is a reminder of those days (Good or Bad for some) and can be a good addition to anyone's coin collection or "investment" in history.
