This particular mark was used on silver produced by Oskamp's factory. Upon Oskamp’s death in 1887, his widow, son Alfred, and John C. Barley Twist Serving or Tablespoon Coin Silver Spoon. This particular pattern and incused C and O in a diamond hallmark (shown) is described in detail on pages 269-270 in the book Cincinnati Silver 1788-1940 by Dehan.
