This Gorham Buttercup cheese scoop is an early, patent 1900 version of this pattern. Cheese scoops are designed for serving Stilton or other soft, crumbly cheeses. The cheese scoop is 6” long and is an original factory made item. It is NOT a made to order piece. It is marked on the reverse as shown with the Lion Anchor and G patn’d 1900 mark and has never been monogrammed. It is in excellent condition with a nice even patina that comes from gentle use and polishing. Please examine the photos as they are part of the discussion.
