Distinctive potbelly (bulbous) cabinet form with 3 drawers. Small edge chip on the potbelly drawer (see photos). These sewing cabinets date primarily to the early–mid 19th century (circa 1820–1860) and were originally used as ladies’ work tables for sewing, needlework, and storage of textiles and tools.
