Antique Brass Button Geometric Openwork approx. 11/16 in Self-Shank

This antique brass button features an intricate geometric openwork design with a three-fold symmetrical motif. The face is heavily textured with fine beaded or granulated detailing and radiating line work, creating a complex, layered aesthetic. The openwork areas allow light to pass through, highlighting the depth of the metal casting. The reverse side shows a sturdy self-shank (tunnel shank) construction integrated into a domed backplate. A small circular backmark is visible on the reverse, though the specific characters are not clearly legible. The button measures approximately 11/16 inch in diameter as shown against a 16ths ruler.
