This antique brass button features a complex geometric openwork design with a central floral-like motif. The brass has a warm, aged patina with visible remnants of a gilt-tone finish in the recessed areas, providing a striking contrast against the darker high points. The reverse side reveals a sturdy self-shank (dome-style with two holes) integrated into the backplate.
