Antique map of Europe in French by Arrowsmith Cartographer in original hand color. Dated 1811. COA on the back is in French, translated as "abstract of the new physical, political and historical geography of William Guthrie with ancient geography fused in the modern seventh edition. Made on the last of the work order, and increased by 250 pages; with the changing divisions of the French Empire, and the other states of Europe, according to the last changes which occurred up to 1811." Map is sealed, under plastic, and all pictures were taken through the plastic. Full page measures 11' x 9-1/4". Map within the border is 9-3/4 x 8'.
