This is an optometry tool that you would send away for to use as a home eye test. It is wood and measures approx. 11 inches long with a viewer that measures 1 inch across. There are scales on the stick for measuring both near and far sightedness. Comes with all the literature for using it and other literature for selling eyeglasses at a very low price to your friends. Copyright date on one piece is 1928. Rare to find this little gadget with all the information. Paper is very old and fragile and has turned brown with age. A great gift for the optician.
