Specifications

Antique primitive toleware tin pantry or spice box with hand-painted floral decoration and ring handle lid. Likely late 19th century. Features a curved “casket” lid, simple latch, and original hand-painted folk art flowers with yellow striping. Measures approximately 6.75 inches long x 3 inches wide x 3.5 inches high. Original paint with noticeable age wear, oxidation, scratches, and paint loss consistent with age and use. Hinges and latch are present and the lid opens and closes as it should. Interior shows age-related oxidation. A nice primitive folk art kitchen storage box with great original patina that displays well. Please review photos for condition details.
