Here is an interesting unique finger ring. I was informed that it is likely made in Scandinavia in the 19th or early 20th Century but it could be older. Is is made of a solid metal which is could be silver but most likely white metal or another alloy, I cannot be sure. It is beautifully hand crafted and decorated in the style of a Saxon ring, with applied filigree. It measures approx 20mm in diameter across the opening and it weighs approx 10g. There in a tiny ridge which is off centre and looks like it was there before the decoration was applied so it might have been made utilising an existing piece of jewellery. There is quite a lot of wear from use and polishing so please view all photos carefully for condition.
