An antique solid sterling silver jewellery or trinket box, of round shape standing on three splayed legs. Engraved monogram LW to hinged lid, opens to reveal a gilded interior with red velvet lined base, underneath lined with morocco leather and a retail plaque for Pearce & Sons, Leeds. In good overall condition with some overall wear and marks with some light dings, good tight closing lid and stands firmly on all feet. Hallmarked Chester, 1915 by maker Synyer & Beddoes. 5.5cm diameter x 3.3cm high, 58.9g total.
