This beautiful, 5" tall snuff bottle is Tibetan in origin and made circa late 19th century. It has a jade-colored round-form body clad with ornate metal decoration. The main front and back sections have a butterfly motif. The very detailed metalwork on the sides feature lion heads, birds, and a buddhist holy figure. The cap has an attached metal micro-mini scoop. There are chinese characters stamped in the bottom. 5" tall and 3-1/2" across at the widest point.
