While many different potters made variations on this pattern, I believe that this particular Wild Rose Platter was made by Robert Cochran & Co, Verreville Pottery, Glasgow circa 1840. Cochran used an impressed mark with initials “R C & Co” and there is an impressed mark “R” to the reverse.
