DESCRIPTION: A beautiful antique Victorian Scottish solid silver brooch, in a Maltese cross shape. The brooch is inlaid with a Montrose lace agate, bloodstone and red jasper. The item isn't hallmarked (which is typical of antique Scottish jewellery) but tests for sterling silver. All of the gemstone pieces are present with no major missing sections, there are some minor chips to the edges. It weighs approx. 6.76g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. There is a slit in the rear next to the hinge, it looks like it has been repaired with lead solder at some point in the items life, see pictures/video. The hinge is still functional and secure. I've reduced the price of the item accordingly.
