The vibrant gold with natural leather stripes as well as the character from normal wear make this trunk attractive from any angle. This would be a great coffee table, end table or prop.The exterior of the trunk is a golden water resistant hard treated fabric over wood. The enclosure edges are lined with a brass plated tongue and groove rail. The corners are wrapped in leather with brass nails and brass plated trunk corners. . The handle and strap handle are made of leather. The strap handle is stamped with 21866 B/83.The interior of the trunk is also in great condition for it's age. The hardware shows little wear with a small amount of oxidation on a few rivets.
