Have not polished the silver and will leave to discretion of buyer. The dauber is in excellent condition. Inside the bottle top, there appears to be some minor flaws that may have occurred during the manufacturing process...see last photo. Please see all photos and ask if in doubt.The perfume bottle belonged to Katherine McAlpin Ratliff of Shaw, MS. She was born in 1886 in Sharkey County, MS, attended Belhaven College in Jackson, MS and served as Postmistress of Smedes, MS. She moved with her family to Shaw, MS in 1910 and married A.P. Latimer in 1911.
