Fine figural tile by Sherwin & Cotton, Hanley, c.1890. Earthenware with transparent mustard glaze; classical lady with ewer in subtle sepia tones using the firm’s photographic-style transfer. Small “G” at lower left (decorator’s initial); reverse with traces of original fireplace plaster. Measurements 30.5 × 15.2 × 1.2 cm (12.0″ × 6.0″ × 0.5″) Weight: 1031 g Condition Excellent antique condition; UV-tested—no cracks, chips, repainting or repairs. Clean, glossy face; expected plaster remains to reverse only. Display-ready. Carefully packed using recycled materials where possible.
