Chinese 1880s Yellow Glazed Earthenware Miniature Chicken Figure Unusual quality finely detailed earthenware chicken figure probably made in the 1880s. This figure depicts a yellow chicken with brown cockscomb standing in green grass. Nice feather details. This piece is not marked which indicates that it was made before 1892, probably in the 1880s. This is an unusual early earthenware figure. This figure is in perfect as made condition and looks like it has spent its life in a curio cabinet. There is wear on the base which is an indicator of its age. Please study the photographs, they are part of the description.
