Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Armorial VOC Plate Circa 1728 Yongzheng. This plate is primarily enameled in greys, blues, reds and yellows. In the center of the plate is the coat-of-arms bookended by standing lions. Atop the coat-of-arms is the Dutch royal imperial crown. Below the coat-of-arms is the V.O.C. Dutch monogram inscribed within scrolling leaves. The top of the plate reads: "CRECUNT 1728 CORDIA RES PARVAE" below a banded striped rim. From the Yongzheng period. There is a hardened waxy substance within the center of the plate, please see photos. This is an original antique item. From the Mark Draak collection in Hamilton, Ontario. Condition is antique pre-owned. Please see photos for condition.
