Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely Sterling Silver tablespoon or serving spoon in the IRIS pattern by Durgin issued in 1900. The pattern has an elaborately chased floral (Iris) design on the handle and foliage in relief on the stem. The "Iris" pattern remains one of Dugin's most desirable patterns. Spoon has a fancy engraved 3-letter entwined monogram possibly "H M D". Marked with the Durgin trademark stamp and "Bailey, Banks & Biddle, DD, Sterling". Measures 8 3/8" long and 1 7/8" wide. Weighs 72 grams. This lovely spoon is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
