A beautiful 1820s to 1850s pottery wear jug with a striped handle, likely Pennsylvania. East Coast pre-Civil War. It has a beautiful brown lead glaze and a nice rolled lip. Lip has some chips, handle is in great condition with a few minor chips, the shoulder has a hairline crack, and the base is in great condition.
