For sale is An ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE wooden BURL MORTAR. It is rare to see such a nice piece of burl so intact as a mortar. It has been beautifully turned on a lathe and elegantly shaped. The swirling burl grains are very evident in this piece. There is a short but stable crack in one side. There are minor imperfections as would be expected with an older piece. Please see photos in detail and zoom in. No pestle. Dimensions are 7" x 6"
