Gorham "The General de Rochambeau Spoon.". Engraved " Rochambeau to Lt. Gov. Jabez Bowen 1780" Back of spoon also has crest engraved. Reproduction of the General's Dressing Spoon. The original Dressing Spoon was given by General Rochambeau, who was about to leave for active operations with Gen. George Washington, to Mrs. Jabez Bowen, wife of the Deputy Governor of Rhode Island.
