Large Antique early Silver Plated tray by Edward Gray Woodward & Sons. The reeded pattern is entitled “Maintenon”. This pattern was copied by larger silver houses, Gorham, International. But nothing compares to the original. The oval tray measures 21 1/2 inches by 15 1/4 inches. Hardly the largest of my silver waiters and various trays I will be listing, but it remains my favourite in Classic design and substantial weight. The pattern name translation means “ NOW”. Makes me love it even more!
