Gorham Silversmiths Vintage Silver Plate 9” YC 784 Revere Bowl From an estate collection, the Gorham large capacity 9” diameter YC 781 Revere bowl is in fair to good vintage condition, dent-free but with scratches in both the interior and on the exterior. The heavy bowl is still very serviceable, and its silver plating is still vibrant. A mid-century Revere Revival period saw recreations of the original Revere bowl, designed and created by Paul Revere in 1768. The original "Liberty Bowl" remains in the Museum of Fine Arts of Boston. As American as apple pie, and from an estate collection, this incarnation of the Revere bowl is an interpretation, with a slight adjustment in form. Shipped with UPS.
