Heavy Vintage 1944 Solid Silver Scalloped Design Compact The compact is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1944 with the makers mark for R.Davis & Co In very good condition, There is minor wear, all of which is entirely commensurate with its age however please ensure you study my pictures carefully and decide for yourself upon the condition of the item before purchasing The compact is exquisitely designed with scallop edging, the front is engined turned and does have the initials J.A The back is also beautifully engine turned The mirror is present, however it is foxed, easy to replace. A good large compact Measures approximately 7cm height x 10cm width Weighs approximately 81.8g
