Beautiful and ornate antique hooked rug, an attic find which was in a collection of civil war-era textiles. There is some bleeding of color in some areas. Rug will need cleaning, may be naturally colored or may be discolored throughout - sorry, this is not an area of expertise for me - though some of the photos, especially some of those taken outdoors (and esp 7 and 8,) represent a more yellow color than what's actually present. The rug measures approx 92" x 94.5"; so, approx 7.7 feet by 7.9 feet. I believe it's made of wool. There are several areas of missing pile/wear & tear.
