MULLER FRERES A very rare French 1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding a large Muller shade. The thick shade out of molded-pressed frosted glass is signed Muller freres Luneville. A nice and very rare model by this famous French glass manufacturer. It has a height of 25 cm and is 36 cm wide (14-3/16"). One of the largest model bowls Muller produced. The shape of the shade makes a nice match with the canopy (ceiling cap). The chandelier has a total drop of about 61 cm (around 24"). It's in very good condition. Some tiny chips and irregularities of molding around the rim and of course like almost all very thick molded shades the glass shows internal hairlines due to the cooling down process after production. I have re-nickeled the mounting. And it comes newly wired. The chandelier holds an American standard base socket. For European countries I will wire it with a E27 one. Free shipping offered.
