Oak Framed Depiction of "The Immaculate Conception". On the back there is a notation reading "FRAMED 7 25 1897". The glass is clear with a few bubbles and the frame is in great condition. The mat is wrapped in an Asian patterned silk fabric. We wanted to make sure this was legitimate, and so we took it apart. We discovered the July 1897 Pennsylvania newspaper underneath. While we had it taken apart, we cleaned the inside of the glass. This measures 14 3/8" x 12". The hanger on the top is a newer addition.
