Old, antique, large Pyrex laboratory equipment item, jar, possibly a dessicator jar, glass marked T.M.REG. PYREX U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN U.S.A. (please see attached pictures). Item is 13&1/2" tall, glass is 10" tall, and item is marked, as shown. We have no idea what kind of metal was used for this item but the base gray mottled metal is nonmagnetic, straps and screw are magnetic, black metal parts are nonmagnetic. Additionally, there is what appears to be a rubber gasket on the bottom beneath the glass part that squishes down when you tighten the top screw down and the black triangle piece on the top appears to be attached to the glass. Glass itself is tinted a light green (shown), and condition is as follows: Glass has some tiny flakes/roughness at the bottom edge (shown). It appears to have been factory ground this way. Otherwise, good, just some rust on the straps and screw and overall wear/use. An interesting item, certainly a conversation piece. Requires $24.00 shipping and US sale only.
