Suitable for mounting and framing.Description: An original antique, copper-engraved map by Capt. Daniel Paterson, published in 1785 by Carrington Bowles in ‘Paterson’s BRITISH ITINERARY being a new and accurate Delineation and Description of the Direct and Principal Cross Roads of Great Britain’. The sheet is printed on both sides, each with two numbered strips showing the route with settlements and topographical features. Some notable places on the routes are as follows:Side 1 (strips 113 & 114) - Llandovery, Rue RaddorSide 2 (strips 115 & 116) - Carmarthen, St Clears Cartographer / Engraver: Daniel Paterson.Provenance: 'Paterson's British Itinerary, Being A New and Accurate Delineation and Description of the Direct and Principal Cross Roads of Great Britain', Vol 1, London, 1785Condition: Excellent condition.
