Wonderful Song dynasty black pottery Gu Form vase with mottled Green Celadon and iron glaze decoration. The Vase has a Zhuanshu Impressed Script mark to the base but sadly impossible to read. Black Pottery was made from iron-rich clay would produce red or brown colours when fired in an oxidizing atmosphere, or would turn black in a reducing atmosphere.
