This is an odd (unique) piece that has a rustic feel. The scroll on the arms are handcut. The slats on the seatback are turned pieces cut in half to make a flat sittong surface. The rockers sit on the outside of the legs in cut grooves. It is possible the rockers were added to a normal chair. The caning is solid and recent. The chair is also solid, easily stands my 200 lbs with no wobbles or loose joints. Not a prize piece; but could be perfect for a farmhouse porch setting.
