Antique Brass Thimble Holder /sewing egg. Adorned with antiqued silver flowers & a Chatelaine clip. Circa 1880s. Made to hold a sewing thimble & small needles. Hinged with a pivoting handle with a small ring at the top that allowed it to be attached to a chatelaine or necklace. Measures 2" x 1" In good antique condition. Some patina. Please see pics.
