Well we can only imagine if this student went on to created some of the most exciting engineering marvels - but this is what I have - 2 - all wood and branded Keuffel Esser slide rule 4058c and the other is 4058 (no C)the center piece does move in both directions without issues. One Does not include the clip, and the other one does.Sold as shown measures 10.5" long 1 - White Pocket 4097B with a case branded K&E Co. Just in case you are on the go and need to use it. The center piece does not slide very well a little stiff to slide in and out. but other than that it is in good condition. I do have a number of vintage and antique 6" - 18" in other listings - I do combine shipping so just message me for an updated shipping cost with the different listings you are interested in.
