This vintage butter mold or stamp is a charming piece of kitchen equipment from times past. Made of wood with a brown color, this small sized item features a star / flower design, adding a touch of antique elegance to any kitchen collection. Dating back to the 1800s, this original piece is listed by a dealer or reseller, making it a unique and sought-after item for those interested in primitives and antiques. It is very very smooth. It must have been sanded and sanded to get it so softly smoothed. You just lift the tiny knob on top to put the butter in to harden with the beautiful design on top. I have sold antiques for the last 55years.
